. we went for a 2nd viewing of the house on sunday .
. right before hayat's 4th birthday party - pics of the party to follow .
. we discussed details of the house in length with the vendor .
. he seemed upbeat .
. we put in a cheeky low offer .
. he declined .
. we increased our original offer .
. he declined again and said he now has another offer .
. a much HIGHER offer close to his asking price .
. i am so sad .
. we were so close . yet so far .
. i declared to bf yesterday . "i hope it (the deal) falls through" .
. yes . i am going to hell . i know i know .
. anyway . bf said he will call and speak to the vendor tonight .
. i wrote him a "brief" email of the pros of why WE should be the ppl he sells to .
. it read (technical terms are in bold):
yes, call him asap, because we have everything sorted, finance and everything - if he is looking for a quick completion we are the ppl to sell it too! hehe
ok here are the pros i can think of to sell to us:
1 - we are chinese and all chinese stick together!!! haha just kidding - but you can use this as a last resort - call him "hing dai" or something or even "dai lo" he might really like it! hahaha
2 - i can guarantee we can get mortgage sorted by mid jan at the latest, if the other ppl have a chain it may fall through.
3 if the difference between our offer and theirs, is only a couple of grand - then i bet his mortgage will cost that much for him to pay per month, so whilst the other ppl are sorting out their finance, their chain and getting the completion of mortgage etc. sorted and faffing about, he will have to make additional mortgage payments, when we know we can get it sorted before he makes his next mort payment - if his mort is paid at the end of the month, that is!
i havent wanted anything so badly in ages and i want to fight for it - but feel like im fighting a losing battle =(
