I knew I was terrible at updating my Livejournal, but this takes the biscuit..

I haven't even been logged in for over a month o_O
Anyway..
I suppose half of the problem is that I've had nothing to say. Well, except for going to hospital about my OCD and having just 4 more GCSE exams..

I also got a new laptop, and me being me, forgot my LJ password. It's a shiny red and white Packard Bell (The laptop, not my password), and I <3 it, apart from having a short battery life, meaning if I want to use it for extended amounts of time, I have to have it plugged into the mains.. In fact, here's a picture or two of my laptop:

Shiiiny. It runs Windows 7, which so far, I like a lot. The only complaint about it is that Anygamestarter does not work properly on it, which is annoying.

The OCD... Well, I got a hospital appointment for it, and it was good. Talked about my OCD in the first one, and waited a lot too (Which is about right for a hospital). They also dragged me off for a blood test, and urgh, I HATE blood tests. I'm in relatively good health, so what's the point!

The second appointment, I just did small puzzles, fun. Not much to say about it, really. I was way more prepared for it, being able to bring a couple of books, a drink and a snack or two along as well.

We had to take 2 trains there, very confusing and annoying, especially when your dad insists on messing you around. We had to wait ages for a bus back the second time we went as well.

I was given a book about OCD, which is very interesting and has some exercises about your obsessions and compulsions (In my case, cleaning and germs), plus stories of other people who have OCD, and I found it very helpful. I admit, I haven't actually done any of the things, plus I've fallen a bit behind on trying to control my OCD (I was doing so well, not washing my hands 2353454 times, going to the toilet without showering after), but it does take time, and hopefully, I can succeed in beating it fully.

Lastly, the GCSE exams. Probably the thing I'm worrying about the least! I'm not worried about my last 4 exams at all. I have 2 Maths and 2 English exams, and I've revised, know when they are and stuff like that, so no worries. Best of all, after that week (The week after next!), NO MORE SCHOOL!

Actually, not quite. I do still have to go in again for the last time on June 30th, for Book Return Day, but still. So excited!

My other exams weren't that bad at all either. The Media Studies one was quite annoying though, since it was 3 hour, I was the only one taking the exam in that room so they rushed around finding out information about the exam, and I used up my 45 minute extra time sorting out the printer, so went through lunchtime! Was not pleased. My PSHE one was just stupid.

Woo for half term being next week as well =DD

And you know what? I'm a lot happier at school then a few months ago. Maybe I've just learnt to get on and be positive, and it must have worked. I'm sure I'm going to do well in my exams now, I just ignore the prats who try and wind me up and a lot of the nasty teachers have gone. Life? Is good.
