I have 4 fun shows coming up. I can't wait :)
This is why I came back to NY. In Orlando i was lucky to see 4 fun shows a YEAR.
Christmas was OK. I should have gone to Long Island, but what can you do. I am the queen of making bad decisions.
Lou got me a rad green Paul Frank hoodie with a little white bear on the front. i love it. It's small so I'm wearing it non-stop to stretch it out a little.
I saw it at Yellow Rat Bastard but couldn't afford to buy it for myself.
My mom sent me a box of stuff i didn't really need, but I'm thankful for it anyhow. She always spends her money on silly stuff, and I wish she wouldn't. I would have been happy with a gift certificate to Bed Bath and Beyond! But hey, that's my mom. Every year she gets me those stupid makeup kits from jcpenney with the really crappy makeup i'll never use on the inside. You know, the ones with the eye shadow that has absoluetly no pigment to it and the really orangy-red lipsticks? EVERY year I tell her not to buy the damn things, because i'll only throw it out, but she still does it! She DID send me socks though, and unlike most people, i LOVE socks as a gift. You can never have too many pairs of damn socks.
So yeah- i've been working a shit load but last week sucked because of the strike. Plus I had to spend money on cabs a few times, And once had to WALK FROM TIMES SQUARE TO QUEENS! Ouch.
This week I'm working everyday but Thursday. I don't mind. I need the money.
I want to try and find a serving job in Little Italy and drop down to 20 hours a week at the Hard Rock (just enough for health insurance).
I'm sorta sad right now... for a few reasons, but everything will be ok. I need to get out and meet fun, crazy people.
