PS Colleen and I are in ROW 39 (I am person #1 and she is person #2)!!! THE LAST ROW!!!!! After 325-some-graduating seniors. Damn! But I get to pull down the balloons at the end! That is pretty cool. I should be able to reach it with my heels on even though I couldn't today!

When I graduated high school and college. igosm June 9 2007, 03:19:34 UTC
We were in order of our graduation position. I was at like 350 out of 700 some. I was so embarrased. Because I was standing right next to a girl who I totally knew was dumb as a stump. And she tried really hard and got to stand next to me. I just cruised through and stood next to her. I was grateful that the crowd had no idea we were in intellectual order. (I used to say I graduated suma come lastly) I was so embarrassed about my GPA.

When I got to college I tried harder and did about the same. College was harder yeah. One problem I had was no problem. I wasn't in remedial anything. I had to hide it. I wonder if those girls made it to Graduation. When I graduated the first time in college (yes I have too bachelors degrees - I am helpless against continuing education...) I actually walked across the stage in front of my family. My sister flew in from Virginia. I really appreciated that. My brother got me jewelry... I graduated with a boyfriend who was just barely an X. I gave him back to his real girl friend at Graduation. He told me (as he was graduation with his engineering degree) I think I made a mistake, I did this for my father, I just want to fix cars. This comment struck me as so stupid smart or smart stupid that I was Glaaaad to give him back to his girlfriend. I thanked her. She thanked me for putting up with him. It was the most liberal thing I ever did. I had no idea I was babysitting. She'd graduated the year before. I bet they got married. I bet they did. I think she was releaved she didn't have to haul up to school every weekend. She really thanked me. She must have really loved him yeah..

It was funny and not really a peak experience at all. Though I will always remember whats-his-name, Yep I don't remember his name. That's a real X.. Yeah..

okay. so by peak experience... this night is really important to me and i'm putting a lot of emphasis on it because i am nearly 2 year clean from meth addiction that destroyed my life - it's largely symbolic of how far i have come and how far i intend to go.

A symbolic night. Okay I get it. Sometimes when we have peak experiences, spiritual, sexual or life transition, right after we feel blue. I did it!!! Now What? Since you are focusing on the Now What.. Already and are planning go ahead and have your peak, May this be the first of a long series of the coolest Day evers. 2 years is forever, you go girl, look at what you've done as an indication of what's possible for you. You could do anything you set your mind to given enough time. Don't forget to rest up before and after. You are having a transition here. Don't rush it! Enjoy the heck out of it.

I didn't go to prom, I was not asked and certainly not one to do the asking. I was /am uncomfortable with the whole dating dance. That's why I married No more dating. So you've gotten better enough to do this and do it right it seems that's just great. Your future's so bright you gotta wear shades yeah!

PS not trying to drive you crazy, any crazy making is purely accidental. I hope you take me to college with you. It's more fun when you don't have to study.. (Of course I have to study. I just don't have a professor, just books and I have to make my own sylibai (how do your spell the plural of sylabus? )) I hope you are studying something I know so I can help.
