Wow. Seriously wow.
Today we had our course selection assembly and all and they told us that teachers from each department would be in certain rooms after school. So I went into the Theology room when I was waiting for my Dad and I talked to Ms. Meehan.
This was our conversation:
Meehan:Carolyn! Let's see what grades you have!
[Looks in grade book]
M: oh. Well what do you want to know?
Carolyn: Well, do you think I could stay on the Honors level next year?
M: Well, let's look at your grades. 86. 80. 72. And your midterm..
C:Not...good.
M:Jeesh. uhm no not really. I can't write you a reccomendation.
C: Well what if I pull my grades up because I'm getting better this quarter, and I had a B last quarter.
M: It would take a miracle to get into Honoros and I don't think you have the mracle in you.
C: Oh, ok...soo...
M: You would be doing better if you had it in you and you're not qualified.
C: But, I have a B- to a B average.
M: I still don't think you'd be able to pull it off.
It's official to say that I do not like her. I had the same, actually I had WORSE grades last year and she PUT me in honors without be even ASKING! She just put me there. And I don't think a "miracle" is completely out of the question expecially since IT WOULDNT EVEN TAKE A MIRACLE. I have fine grades for Honors. I could always bring them up MORE to a B+, but I think I'd be fine for Honors. Flippin Lesbian.
I still don't know what I'm doing about the rest of my classes. I didn't have a chance to talk to my other teachers. I don't think I'm taking a science, I'll just take one my senior year. My elective I think will be Creative Writing II. Mrs. Dennen thinks I should go into Honors Spanish III, but Channa and I are thinking about maybe switching over to Latin! And English, I'll probabaly do regular and hopefully get Mr. Naughton cuz he's one of my favorite teachers. And Algebra. I think I could probabaly handle Honors Algebra II, but I would need a B+ in Geometry and I don't have that right now. It's because I'm 10X better at Algebra than Geometry. I dont know, I'll talk to Mr Earl tomorrow.
I am drinking lemonade and it makes me feel like Spring!
Not to mention it smelt like spring in Mr Russo's room today.
Youth Group tonight! woot woot :) That'll put me in a good mood. And, oh my gosh, you know whats weird? Scott KNOWS. (Hahaha. Like the opposite of that song. scotty DOES know. Hahaha. Sorry. Random moment.) I don't knwo who told him, but when I saw him on monday he was like "hey...I heard a rumor about you" and i was like "whaaaaaat" and he was like "well...about...." andi was like "oh yeah. its true :) blah blah blah. Spring Fling." and he was like "YEAH DEFINATELY THAT IS AN AWESOME IDEA YES YES YES I THINK YOU SHOULD." and i was like ok. And Food Fast is in April! woooo but Nik says she doesn't think I should do it becausae I'll faint and my mother said "we'll see" But Scott said I could eat! So I don't see what the problem is. I can go fine going 1 day without food. I mean, I have gone longer.
Anywho. Back to my lemonade.
