2008 in review

I met shaula82 for lunch today and she mentioned that i haven't posted on LJ what I've done this year, just the occasional rant either on what's getting me down, pissing me off, or cheering me up. So here goes.

What I've done this year (not in chronological order):

Performed in "The Laramie Project" - twice
Two full time semesters of University study
Campaigned for two Union board candidates
Got myself elected to SRC without much effort
Got myself elected the Chair of the Standing Legal Committee of the SRC (once again without effort)
Successfully managed the finances of SUDS ($10000 profit ftw)
Attended NUS conference
Procrastinated plenty
Avoided a fine for traveling on a train without a ticket
Moved into the Firetrap
Assisted in negotiations for the Market Research EBA
Bought a new bike
Bought a suit
Restarted the Production and Design subgroup of SUDS (and got myself a protege in the process)
Drank a lot of coffee
Got a girlfriend
Played hockey (almost making the finals)
Worked at MB (although less than in previous years)

That doesn't seem like a full year's worth of stuff but some of it takes up more time than others.
Anyways it's been a fun year. Next year will be better. Or at least I aim for each year to be better than the one before. Keeps life interesting.
