This is a long shot. I don't suppose any of you Smithers-type people are driving up for the summer are you?
Yeah, because Air Canada are dicks, they don't allow rats to travel in the cabin. I'd have to send her through cargo, which, after looking up some stuff, seems pretty unsafe for a rodent, as they don't even provide proper cages for them. Plus it costs an arm and a leg: a hundred bucks, one way. Other airlines cost less, but I'd still run into the whole cage problem again. Also, West Jet is the only other airline that goes all the way up to Smithers, but it doesn't go to Victoria. I've even done the logistics of sneaking the rat on board, but almost every scenario ends with the grumpy face of flight security.

EDIT: can't send her by cargo either, because it involves two stop overs, which they don't do.
