Just Kill Me In Your Dreams [one-shot]

He did it.

Of course, he wasn't proud of it, but he did it, and it was too late to turn back now.

- Flashback -

Softly, he kissed Ji's forehead. "I love you, Yongie."

And with that, he, too, smiled, and then giggled cutely. "Me too, hyung. Love you too."

Every moment together was always so sweet, so gentle. Seung Hyun could not even bear hurting Ji Yong.

It was another day at the recording studio with all the others, recording a song for their new Korean album set to come out in three months. Yes, Big Bang was back.

From the very corner of his eye, he saw Ji flushed with a delicate rose color, and Young Bae, who seemed to be flirting with him. Again.

If you saw those two without knowing that Seung Hyun and Ji Yong were already together, you'd think that they were lovers. The way Young Bae held Ji close with his arms wrapped protectively around his waist, the way he whispered sweet things into his ear, and the shy way Ji would push him away weakly; all these little things just made Seung Hyun go crazy with over-protectiveness.

Seung hyun began to watch Ji Yong like a hawk, eying his every move and making sure he stood a good five feet away from Young Bae. Not that he noticed, anyway. He was too busy focusing on the music rather than the two boys competing for his love and attention.

On one of those dreaded nights when Ji would be too dead tired to care whose bed he fell asleep on, Seung Hyun decided to confront Young Bae about the closeness he had with his boyfriend.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" They were conveniently in the pantry, looking for something to satisfy their growing hunger.

Young Bae decided to play dumb. "What are you talking about?" The was a very clear hint of annoyance in his tone.

"Oh, don't try to act stupid with me, Bae. Why the hell are you always flirting with my boyfriend, huh?" His temper was slipping.

"I don't know what you're talking about - "

"You sure as hell know what I'm talking about!"

Bae sighed in defeat. "Look, it's not my fault that your lover wants to be with someone else."

And with that, it finally slipped.

He rounded on him, landing a hard punch in the stomach, which was enough to send him flying towards a nearby wall. Young Bae was quick to react, responding with a punch of his own.

~.~.~

Ji Yong was awakened by a sudden loud 'boom' seemingly coming from the pantry. He got up from his massive bed, massaged his temples, and sauntered to the kitchen. With his hand on the door knob leading to the food pantry, he heard voices coming from inside.

"Ji Yong is mine!"

Then a loud crashing noise.

Hastily, Ji turned the knob, only to see his boyfriend and best friend throwing several punches at each other. The food on the shelves were falling as the two were taking turns flying against the walls. "What the hell are you doing!?"

Frantically, he tried to get either mans' attention, but to no avail. He even tried stepping in between the two, but instead, Seung Hyun's fist landed, directly hitting his cheekbone area. A small, distinct cracking sound could be made audible between the three.

In that single punch, Ji Yong could feel that he had released all his rage, though it was clearly made for Young Bae's face. Ji Yong flew; he became airborne as his lithe form hit the nearest wall full of food on shelves. Ji's eyes went lifeless, their usual spark drowning from them completely.

It hurts, hyung. It hurts.

- End flashback -

And now, here Ji Yong was, in Seung Hyun's warm and loving arms. In the hospital. With his dear, delicate life on the line.

His lithe form was terribly limp in his arms, the heavy bags under his beautiful eyes darker than ever. He felt like crying.

This was all his fault. He did this to him. And now, he wasn't even sure if Ji would ever forgive him.

He sighed deeply; heavily. All he could do was wait for him to wake up and explain to him everything.

After two endless hours of complete silence, his beloved boyfriend's eyes fluttered open. "S-Seung Hyun?" He whispered weakly.

Seung Hyun's head shot up at the sound of his ringing voice, hastily rushing over to his side almost immediately. "Ji Yong!? You're awake!" He cried hysterically, making Ji cry at the sight of his forming tears. He smiled his famous cheeky smile.

"You were here the whole time?"

Seung Hyun nodded slowly. "Of course I was. You know I'd never leave your side."

Ji Yong scanned the entire gloomy room. "Who are those from?" He asked, eyeing a massive bouquet of flowers on the table below the window.

"Oh. That's, umm..from Young Bae. He was here earlier," he muttered, slightly nervous.

Ji looked back up at Seung Hyun's pained face. He tugged on the sleeve of his long-sleeved shirt.

"Hmm?"

"You know I love you, and only you, right?" Ji Yong looked down and stopped tugging. He pouted cutely.

Seung Hyun blinked twice, slightly boggled from the cute look on his lover's face. He then smiled genuinely at the gesture. "I do now." He reached out his arms slowly to wrap his warm, loving arms around Ji, pulling him into a tight embrace. "And if I ever, ever hurt you again - whether it may be accidentally or on purpose - please kill me."

"Hyun - "

"No, I'm serious. If I hurt you, then you would never forgive me or love me anymore, and then I'd have no reason to live."

Ji Yong began to tear up again; he could feel the hotness of the water threatening to emerge. And he would've cried if Seung Hyun hadn't swiped his thumb directly under his eyes.

"Please don't cry." Seung Hyun pulled him down to the bed and pulled up the covers above their shoulders, pressing his lips softly to Ji's plump lips. When they broke, Ji Yong's hand was covering his mouth as he turned flushed with a delicate and bright rose color. He chuckled in his deep voice.

When he finally was released from the hospital without a broken cheekbone and left shoulder blade, the world seemed to resume from the time it seemed to stop. Time and time again, Young Bae would flirt with his boyfriend, practically jumping him in the process, which made Ji yelp in surprise. And of course, Bae found it devastatingly adorable.

He grew jealous, and soon, he found himself pushing Ji Yong away slowly. Ji confronted him about it countless times, but Seung Hyun insisted that it wasn't a big deal.

Several weeks later, he found himself at a local bar, chugging down shot after shot like it was water. He was drunk, and he knew it.

His eyes averted to and from every single person in the nearly claustrophobic room. Many lithe forms attracted him, but only one seemed to take his breath away.

It was his ex-girlfriend, Hana. What the hell was she doing here?

He slowly approached her lithe form; and she noticed. "Hey."

"Hey."

It was silent for some time before he leaned in and smashed his lips against hers without thinking. He was lost in the moment; it felt so wrong, but yet so right. He had missed this feeling.

~.~.~

The next morning, Seung Hyun woke up stiff, aching, and slightly off-balance. His head hurt as he felt the room spinning.

Ughh. What the hell happened..?

~.~.~

Young Bae sauntered through the door leading to Ji Yong's room. He was awake, curled up in a ball. He sat on the bed before wrapping his strong arms tightly around the other man's small waist. "You okay, babe?"

Ji sniffed twice before replying. He nodded slightly. "Is it supposed to hurt this much, Bae?"

Young Bae sighed heavily; deeply. He pushed some of his delicate bangs away from his beautiful face. "It's okay. Remember, you have me, Ji Yong-ah."

Ji Yong didn't answer. Because he was afraid to.

~.~.~

He had found out about it. Seung Hyun had cheated on his beloved boyfriend. And once again, he had hurt him; not physically, but it probably hurt just as much, and maybe even more.

He had driven his one and only true love out of his life. But he was determined to woo him away and win him back. He had to.

He checked in his room. No Ji Yong. He had checked every bathroom. Still, no sign of Ji. He looked everywhere around the house, scanning every single square inch of it, but no cigar. And he was very afraid to go up to the last area of the house he did not go to look for him : the roof top.

Realizing that his lover's dear life was literally on the line, he ran up the stairs leading there, tripping over his feet a couple of times, but nonetheless, he was still going to retrieve his boyfriend. He was his forever, even if Ji Yong himself didn't want it to be true.

The door burst open, revealing a nearly sweating Seung Hyun. "Ji Yong!" But it was already too late, for he had fell off the edge of the building without warning. Hastily, he ran after his falling lithe form and, too, jumped off the edge of the building. He grabbed Ji's hand and pulled him close, holding him in a tight embrace. He closed his eyes in preparation for his death below.

But they never hit the ground.
