i do believe in those rights. just because. or maybe because no one should be discriminated because of his sexual orientation. it's nothing bad. but the society is still afraid of it. too bad.
you should see how afraid people are here. its horrid.
but, thinking of protesting and all that jazz, my friend (14 year old BOY!) protested when the president came to town yesterday supporting a local repub candidate. i'm so proud of him. couldn't help but share.
i know how afraid are ppl in poland where after president's change and when new government was set up and when the church, yes - church, started to mess with politic
( ... )
are you going to try to leave? the US isn't a picnic, but it sounds much better. i'm thinking about canada or germany, politics aren't too great, but they aren't overpowering.
i always wanted to leave poland. and i think i will. i know that US isn't a picnic. actually any country is. but yes - US is the place i always wanted to go. why? i'll give you one reason, which may sound pretty stupid and lame and i don't know how else, but i don't care. and the reason is - music. oh yes. in here there are like no chances to see a good show. or to buy a CD of fave band. i have to order everything abroad and i pay a lot of money. way to much that you in US. i'm a music freak. i do things connected with music. and that's why. music is my one and only love. ok. second. the first is my a-z sister who's as big music freak as i am. i know this sounds stupid. but that's the truth. i don't expect that life in US would be pink and easy for me. we all have to work for what we have. but in there some of my current dreams would come true just like that.
that doesn't sound stupid. that makes sense to me. music is very important to me as well, however, i'm falling out of love with all this shit music we have. its like, the vocalist is the only person who has the melody... or the guitar player. there's just not enough substance to rock. i love classical, but even more so jazz. i think that rock should learn to create counter melodies, and have things going on all the time, you know what i mean?
