You know, in every account that you read of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, it's presented as an established fact that the fire department's ladders didn't reach past the sixth floor, nor did the hoses.
It may well be true about the ladders, but it's very plain that in
this photo, at least one hose is pushing a healthy stream of water to at least the ninth floor, and possibly the tenth.
