Drama Abounds!
It slowly begins to dawn on the MSM that while the chattering classes think Turkey's invasion of Syria is a "crisis", most Americans don't care. IMHO, we need to tell the world "not our problem" a whole lot more than we do.
The idea that this is somehow going to lead to a resurgence of ISIS seems ludicrous to me. Russia is on the ground there, and the Assad government will be reasserting control over the area. Both of them will deal with ISIS and their sympathizers much more effectively and directly than we ever would have.

Did I still live in Columbus, I'd be pumpkin-festivalling this weekend, instead of poking around the yard looking at bugs. This is actually more fun, though :)

People are absolutely going berserk in Chile. This is the first time I ever recall rioters setting a skyscraper on fire - that snorkel truck's hose just isn't reaching it, either. I'm struck by how many of the pictures include one or more people who are themselves taking pictures. We live in a well-documented age.
lots of trains and busses on fire. Gonna suck to be the guys who rely on mass transit to get to work.
