So, that woman who ran over those kids from the bus got convicted. I was sure this would be the outcome, although IMHO it's unjust. As I noted at the time, apart from being used as a speedtrap, that stretch of road just plain has something wrong with it. I never use it if I can avoid it.
Now, in addition to putting this poor girl in prison, the county has distributed nice red and white plastic lawn signs (similar to election signs) that say "Stop means STOP!". It's good to know that your government has a plan.
