oh goodbyes
it's nearing the end of the semester and despite the fact that I have an incredibly annoying history project lurking about, I'm happy.
Last night was the biggest procrastination party ever. We tried to create an atmosphere conducive for getting some work done.. the "other people are working, so i should be working" method... yeah- failed miserably. but it was nice talking to everyone and laughing about obnoxious childhood stories.
I can't wait until i can just sit on my couch and not worry about anything.. to be a nerd again and read for fun.. to hang out with my favorites from home.. to sleep soooo much.. to open and give presents.. to see the family in Portugal... etc.
I'm going to miss my friends here so much. i know it's only a month.. but months have felt like years here. September feels like a decade ago, and memories are making me feel older by the minute. I hope everyone has a happy holiday; eat, drink, and be merry all. i love and will miss you.
