I've had the same bulletin board hanging in my room since freshman year. I wrote the date on it the night I made colorguard. Tonight I went through dozens and dozens of pictures trying to decide which ones will go on my new college bulletin board. There's one of our boys at homecoming and the girls at prom. There's one from when the four senior girls went to Lousiana on a road trip. There's a couple dance team and a couple of my brother. There's one of Annalee and I and one of Jennifer one of the many nights we went out. There's even one of me and Jamie B. at our playboy party where we were the only ones dressed up. In five days I'll be sleeping in my new bed with my new roomate staring at my new bulletin board. I'm looking forward to college and living on my own. But I'm looking more forward to coming back for the homecoming game and seeing everyone. Because as much as I hate to admit it, I could never leave this town or anyone in it behind.
