Since most of us are about to leave for college, I thought I would give my personal advice on the whole "parting" thing. You can comment if you think I'm wrong, but I promise these are things that no one will say but everyone talks about. And please, be careful.
My 5 Simple Rules To Going Out
1. There is no actually guest list and if there is, don't go. Thats lame. You should always be asked to come by the host or his/her best friend(s). Anyone else, check before entering.
2. Once your invited, You must first call the host and ask if you can bring a guest. Never assume. That only makes people at the party who are actually invited uncomfortable.
3. Now that your in the party, be social. You went out to meet people and have fun. Don't sit in the corner and have people whisper about all night. Make new friends. Thats the point, right?
4. If you do have a drink, be smart about it. If everyone else just had a little and your drunk, slow down! No one wants to take care of you. If you spill something, clean it up. Simple things like that will get you asked back.
5. Last but not least, be aware. When you go out, make sure you know MoSt of the people there, if not all. Never go to a strangers house/ dorm cause you heard a good party would be there. And always have a friend with you.
