FanExpo 2010!
My best friend akuma_hana and I went on Friday as well as Sunday.
We had to wait in line for two hours, but it wasn't too bad. There was a Russia cosplayer standing in front of us.
Basically, we went shopping for several hours XD
On Sunday, we went to two workshops, one of which was Japanese 101. I knew 90% of the things the woman was teaching us, but it was nice to review. She did make a mistake though, and nearly butchered the word "konnichiwa" even though she was Japanese (=.=;;)
I bought more Hetalia merchandise.
For part of my birthday present, akuma_hana bought me a postcard print.
I saw many cosplays, and some were really impressive. From Naruto, I saw two Kakashi's, two shippuuden Sasuke's, a shippuuden Sakura, a hokage Naruto, two or three Tsunade's, a Shizune, two Kakuzu's, a shippuuden Shino, and a bunch of people in Akatsuki cloaks only. From Hetalia, I saw a Poland, three or four Prussia's, two France's, two or three Russia's (including the one I have a picture of up there), and an America and Canada. Oh, and I think I saw a China, but I'm not sure.
Oh, and I also bought a bunny-eared hat X3 Reminds me of Hungary's. I'm going to knit cords for it, because it's not tight enough to withstand the winds here...don't want my lovely hat blowing away.
Yesterday was the last day of my very first convention. I had lots of fun, and it was a late birthday celebration anyway.
