so it's a friday night and i'm sitting in my room. not because i can't go out, because i simply don't want to. this entire week has been really hectic. tuesday i went to a halloween party at the swim house and i worked both wednesday and thursday nights so i literally haven't had a free moment to myself since i got back to albany. i decided i need to use tonight to catch up on sleep, homework, and to pick the classes i'm taking for next semester (i meet with my advisor on tuesday).
simply put, last weekend was amazing. on friday i went to the mall with kim and ryan. we stopped by zumiez and i talked to ed about coming back during my chirstmas break. he was really cool about it and seemed happy to have me back, which was nice. saturday i had breakfast with the family then ryan came over. the day started out kind of upsetting because it was shitty weather and nothing turned out as planned. i felt like my parents were avoiding me and they kept on making comments about how i wasn't a part of the family anymore, but by the end of the night ryan cheered me up. on sunday i went out to breakfast with ryan. then we went to rockland lake. taking pictures of random children... fun times. afterwards we drove around and ended up in nanuet- "just to see if there was a carnival going on" hahaha. then we picked up jen, kim, and chris. we wanted to go apple picking but every place was closed so we ended up going to a farm that sold about ten different types of apples. we each picked out a different type as our own version of "apple picking" haha. we somehow ended up in an abandoned corn maze. afterwards we went to a haunted house... where ryan proceeded to run through a wall haha... then dropped everyone off and went back to ryan's house for a big family dinner :) on monday i dyed my hair a darker blonde and ran errands with ryan. then we went to the hellogoodbye, cute is what we aim for, dave melillo, and reggie concert in the city!! it was possibly the best concert i've ever been to, ryan and i were against the barriers in the front. by the time we got home, it was 12:30 and i still had to shower, pack, and bake for my mom's birthday. i never ended up going to bed since i had to leave for albany at 6:30 in the morning, but it was definately worth it. i had one of the best weekends ever and it made me so happy that i have ryan as a boyfriend :) sometimes i question why i'm in albany.. but it's nice to know that i have something so special to come home to, and it makes living two and a half hours away from home worth it.
