(no subject)
So, it's been a little while and a lot has changed in my world. Well, nothing too incredibly life-altering, but still. I moved out of my parents house into an apartment here in Jacksonville. I love it, and it's a TON closer to my job, which is always nice! My roomates are pretty cool too. It's just a little scary with the whole money managing and making sure that there is enough to pay all the bills. I'm happy though because having a lease under my name will cause my credit score to go up.
I'm at work right now and bored out of my mind. I am in training to take a new type of phone call...it was a promotion, and a pay increase, so why not? Well, in the training we are learning to take calls for several different departments, but are learning them one at a time. After we learn about the calls, we start taking them for a few days. Right now we are taking calls for retirement accounts. I have been available to take phone calls for 7 hours, and have taken a total of 2 calls today. The rest of the time I've spent staring at the wall, searching websites, having conversations with my friend Tucker (who agrees with everyone else that I have poor taste in guys) and now, updating my live journal.
Also, it's very infuriating because I happen to be in a room with a couple of the most irresponsible/unprofessional people in the world. But life will go on...and there is only an hour left for the day :)
I still really haven't spoken with the guy from the previous entries. I texted him the other day, and he actually replied, which I was pretty shocked about. He said that he's really sorry and he's not trying to ignore me, but there's just a lot of stuff going on etc..etc.. He apologized for being so selfish. It was just nice to know he's at least alive and seems to be doing fairly well. Anyway, enough about that.
I really want to buy a new car because mine is a piece of crap, but I can't really afford that right now, so I guess I'll just make due with what I have.
My birthday is in 3 days, all of you feel free to buy me something! Just kidding. But I will be 20 years old. I feel a lot older than that though. Like I have a real job, and real responsibilities....etc.
Anyway, I need to get back to work now....see if maybe I can take my third call of the day!
