Life..or something like it
School started yesterday, and so far everything is really good. I'm a little worried about 2 of my classes (Anatomy & College Algebra) but I think I can get through it. The rest of my classes seem pretty easy. I've been running into so many people I know, which is so weird, because at USF I only knew like 2 people from HS. And, I know someone in almost every one of my classes, which makes me very happy!
Soo I've come to a decision about my job. I've been wanting to quit Galaxy, because frankly, I'm just getting too old to work there, I need more of a "grown-up" job, and I need more money. Well, ever since I mentioned this to my boss he has all but gotten down on his knees and begged me to say. He basically told me that they can't pay me an outrageous amount of money, but he can try and get me as much of a raise as possible, plus hes going to garuntee me 36 hours a week, and garuntee me first dibs on birthday parties every saturday..which is big tip money. So, after a lot of thinking, I've come to the decision that as long as they give me at least $1.50 an hour raise (if not more)and still garuntee me the hours and the bday parties, I'll stay. I also think that I want to get a job as a server at a restaurant like Friday's or Outback or something just working like 3 nights a week. Anyone know of any restaurants hiring, let me know! I really didn't want to work at a restaurant, but if its not that bad if its only a few nights a week. Hopefully everything will work out..here's hoping..
