I decided that when I get the money together, this is the tattoo I'm getting:
It's the symbol for Om Mani Padme Hum inside the Zen circle.
Om Mani Padme Hum basically represents purity, or the quest for purification within Buddhism.
* Om purifies bliss and pride (realm of the gods)
* Ma purifies jealousy and need for entertainment (realm of the jealous gods)
* Ni purifies passion and desire (human realm)
* Pad purifies ignorance and prejudice (animal realm)
* Me purifies poverty and possessiveness (realm of the hungry ghosts)
* Hum purifies aggression and hatred (hell realm)
The Zen circle represents the entire universe in one single, perfect stroke.
But yeah. That's what I want. Either on my back, inner wrist, or foot. Haven't really figured that out yet. If I get it on my foot or wrist it'll be pretty small, definitely bigger on my back. I'll probably go have it priced while I'm on break next week.but
