This summer has been somewhat of an utter disaster.

I can't tell you how many times that I've over-drawn my bank account (I actually had a check for $8 bounce from pygmalion's.) Yeah, $8. Fortunately they were cool and let me pay it off without any ridiculous fees. My bank charged me $60 for having to return it though. Yeah. Sixty. That, on top of the $96 fee for going $11 over. And then they would continue adding more fees on top of that when I couldn't pay it back for 3 days. I only get paid $124 a week, once a week. Fuckers. So for anyone hearing me bitch about money, at least in the first half of the summer, that was the reason. I was stuck in a whole and I couldn't provide for myself. I'm completely embarrassed and ashamed that I let that happen to me. I'm supposed to be on top of things, I'm generous with money- when I have it. And I didn't have it, and there wasn't any end in sight. I finally got a little bit of funds in the account, but that slowly went away too- rent, being a large part of it as well as gas, oh yeah and groceries. Fat kid's gotta eat.

And that.

Another summer's gone and I didn't stick to my regime like I started out with. I probably only lost about 5 lbs. And that of course sucks, because I know that doesn't make a damn bit of difference in the whole picture called my body.

I don't know whether people actually treat me differently than others or if it's just my own insecurities playing out how I think I'm perceived. Probably a mixture of both.

I'm kind of sad that I'm going to leave the hardware store.. I actually really realllly liked everybody that I worked with, and now I'm leaving for a bunch of weird, new, different calibur of people. It felt really good though to hear "I hope it doesn't work out at RL so you can come back here" by more than just my boss who wanted to continue underpaying me, as well as everyone else there.

But as for new jobs and new people in general- you can be a guy and look at my face when you're talking- I swear I won't try to bone you. How many times do I have to complain about this?

I need a best friend again.

If there's one thing that I learned this past year is that if there's something that I want to do- I'm not going to let any one person/persons hold me back from it. This is my last year at IU.
I don't know what I'm going to do come May... but damnit I'm going to know that I did everything for me, that every consequence was my doing.
