I just wanted to vent about something that has ALWAYS bugged me: LITTERING.
From a very young age I have loved our earth and knew that THE EARTH IS NOT A GARBAGE CAN.
I enjoyed going on litter walks where I would go on long walks and fill plastic bags with trash I would find on the side of the road. I also got into recycling. It felt good to do something for our mother earth.
I still do this today, and it sickens me how much CRAP I find.
Do you know what I find 90% of the time while walking down Bypass Road? The number ones are cigarette packs, beer cans, lottery tickets, and McDonald's wrappers.
Is it just a bit obvious the type of people who are doing the littering? I hate to use this term but you all are WHITE TRASH.
I went on one of my "litter" walks just 3 days ago where I filled FOUR shopping bags worth of garbage. I drove down the same road today and I saw MORE McDonald's bags and lottery tickets.
I wish I knew who this pathetic person was. I would fill up bags with his or her trash and DUMP IT on their front porch.
Are they spending so much on lottery tickets and booze and fast food that they can't afford a garbage can?
I know it seems silly to be angry about this to some people, but to me it's not. The earth has enough crap in it. The least we can do is place trash where it belongs, and for appropriate materials "reduce, reuse, and RECYCLE".
Unless you like living in a filthy mess, I'd do something about it!
