*sigh* i feel bad, i bought 2 real diamond rings last week (one had a sapphire) and i didnt realize till the next day that i could have used that money and bought REALLY good ice skates...  damn

but on ither news, i felt sick today, refused to go home though, which now htat i think of it, i should have because gotberg wasnt here today, i wouldnt ( Read more... )

Sell your rings back to Kay Jewlers for double their original appraisal price. They guarentee double.

And Stacey is right, diamonds are worthless. Sure they look cool, but they cost as much to mine as it costs to buy a taco at taco bell. er, bad analogy, but they're literally dirt cheap. So sell it back while you can.

will they pay that much if i didnt buy if from Kay Jewlers?

also, why would they pay 2X what its worth?

You'll need to get it appraised somewhere else then. But after you get it appraised, take it to Kay, and have them appraise it. If its less than double the other persons appraisal, show them the receipt and they'll have to give you double. As its their gaurentee.

Thats directly quoted from their pamphlet thing.
Though you may have had to buy your diamond from Kay...

Check it out, it cant hurt to ask.
There's a Kay at Golf Mill I think...or some diamond store. They'll appraise it for you.
