I wouldn't put Iraq on a pedistal jsut yet, or even at all... ever. If spreading freedom and democracy is going to cost us as a country 7 billion dollars a day... I, as a tax payer, say fuck that.
Unfortunately it looks like Iran is next even before Iraq is even starting shape up.
