Dang, My Only Means Of Homeostasis Are Shot.
Did you know...
That in order for something to be considered scientifically 'living' it has to live up to seven qualifications? Sounds pretty unfair to me.
1. They have to be organized. Each part must have a certain function. No sloppy free-rangers!
2. They must take matter or energy from the environment. No purgers among the living.
3. They must react to stimuli. *poke* I stimuli'ed you. :) Start reacting.
4. They must grow and develope. I am not making jokes about development problems. I'm not quite *that* much of a douchebag.
5. They must reproduce. *squirm* Too many jibes to choose from!
6. They must be homeostatic. If you're alive, your insides can't change. Your mom lied. PEOPLE NEVER CHANGE.
7. They must be adapted. Like how us northern folk grow parkas in the wintertime :)
I don't know, I have some beef with these science folk. I may have to go on a mission to prove science wrong.
