A pretty face, a smile you see,
Yet inside this is not me,
Strands of sunlight, stones of sapphire,
Thy shone into thy soul,
One could look, and one would see,
A saddened lost version that is deep within me,
Invisible to the naked eye,
An ocean of tears,
Spirit over a thousand years,
Cries from the heart,
Days so harsh,
Intoxications cloud my mind,
Dreaming in a daze,
Yet left unfazed,
A heart far more than torn,
But was left in a burning fire to scorn,
Alone and afraid,
Only love being craved,
My soul still unsaved,
Dropped from the heavens,
A taste of hell,
Partnered with the devil,
Now all is well,

Evils taste,
My heart no longer echos,
You let go,
But happiness is all you'll ever know.
