(no subject)
This week has been a mish mash of work, stress and feeling grotty. I went back to the doctor on Tuesday because I'm still dehydrated all the time and have the rally pleasant experience of blood when I go to the bathroom :( My doctor says campylobacter does this however and it'll just take time. Oh yeah, you can also have relapses *eek* I don't know if it was because he told me that or that I worked myself into it but Wednesday and Thursday I felt like shit. Definitely thought I was sliding back into bedridden hell. I came right though :)
k has been going through another of her tough patches. I think it's caused by her mother's health degeneration. Every couple of days it seems that K has to go over and take her mum to the eye specialist because her eyes are getting worse. Coupled with the fact that she can hardly walk down a corridor and things are a bit grim. I try and keep things positive with K and give her all my love but its not as easy as it seems and it takes a lot out of me :( Still I love her and I will do anything to make sure she will survive.
The tension at work is becoming awful and hard to take as well. I'm not going to bore you with details but in a thimble the issue is old school library versus the modern world. It's like they can't seem to grasp the concept of evolution .... sigh. And I'm stuck in the middle because I was hired under the new "evolved" contracts... double sigh. The sooner the learning centre position becomes available the better.
The bright spark of the week was seeing Serenity. Loved it though it did feel a bit like an extended episode of Firefly. Not that that's a bad thing though :) I just hope that there's a sequel though the prospect of Joss doing Wonderwoman is making me giddy.
Goldie's much better. he had his drain out yesterday but the stitches are still in for another week. Either him or his brother gave us the "gift" of an eviscerated bird today. Lovely. I suspect it was Goldie, Tinka usually devours everything but the nose (no shit ... I can remember three separate occasions stepping on a mouse snout)!
Anyway I'm writing this at work and I'm getting sidelong looks so I better go.
