Camp Rotary Update
Saturday- Did some last minute things for camp and then got to camp rotary around 2ish. Checked in, talked to everyone that i havent seen in a wicked long time and then all the cits met in the rec hall. Played some name game to meet everyone but there were 50 of us so it got old. Movied into cabin 9 in the JG Unit! I was with Brenna and Sam :) which was amazing.
Sunday- got out clothes, unpacked, and got ready for the campers. Found out i had to run my own program with one other cit..sweet. Kristys lil sister was in my cabin. Met campers, got some tips, and all that good stuff. Had our traditional turkey dinner with boston cream pie.
Monday- Got schedules and whatnot..i had water games as one of my programs..wonderful...oops i lied..it was..all because i didnt go in the water once :) we had a cook out for the 4th and slept over a kids house..so that was sweet. yay Yah not sure what else we did on monday..so moving on
Tuesday- it was a good day..forget what happeend :)
Wednesday- CIT field trip!!! wooo .. we all went to Chunkies to see Bewitched..it was cute not the best movie. and then after that we went to laser quest. it was pretty fun i must say. Got home a little before dinner and after the kids were in bed the girls worked on our skit for the talent show.
Thursday- The campers went to Canobie lake which means an extremely easy day for us staff memebers. Did nothing and i loved every moment of it. Played some 4 square with the cool kids and had a ton of fun ahh yes :) for dinner we had another cook out because we do every night before the dance. and then at 7 it was my day off! score!!!
got picked up at 7..went home showered :) and then went over jax's house with whitey. we watchedpart of a movie, realized it was bad and then went in the hottub. austin c came over for a little bit then he left and pat came. went home at 11 and went straight to bed.
Friday- woke up early because i had to go to a funeral. It was sad. Came home slept till 2 and then went out for lunch with my mom. We went to Joe fish..it was pretty good. Later that night i went over sophias. Joe and christina picked us up and we decorated a bridge for culls bday..in the pouring rain. It was fun though. The mada picked me up at 630 so i could get a coffee for me and danielle..get ready and head back to camp for the night. Friday night=talent show. It was gooood. The The cit2s from the JGU did a skit on superheroes seeing that was the theme for this week. It was funny and fun to do. I was Mario. good times. had some good times running around camp in the rain and swimming through the huge puddles lol. later that night we had an ice cream party. and then packed..or tried. friday was a good night i must say.
Saturday- must say that brenna sam and i were very happy so see some of our campers leave. not all because we had 4 campers who we loved..the other 4 were so hard to take care of and whatnot. Campers left at 930. So we all hung around lower campus, played games, talked, pictures, and then we had a meeting for 30 mins..and then my dad picked me up
