I'd talk about the election, but a lot of people have said it better than I can. But at some point I may share thoughts. The gist for me, though, is enormous relief, and no small amount of pride.

Anyway, the real reason I'm doing this is to play "keep-up-with-the-gryphonrose"s. I'm struggling through NaNoWriMo myself, but I'll try to hack it this time. Sad

Oh, honey, I haven't even STARTED Nano yet.

I still figure that at an average of 2200 words a day, I can still make it. And one of my biggest writing inspirations recently was Stephen King's "On Writing," and in there he says that 2000 words a day is about right for writers in general, so I was shooting for that anyway and this is still pretty okay.

...I have a plot, though. I did write a plot treatment/outline/thingy on Saturday, so I'm not too far gone.
