"Are you sure you are ready for this, Taeminnie?" Kibum asked. Kibum was Taemin's brother. He already moved out of their parents house years ago when he went off with his boyfriend and now spouse, Jonghyun, and was living happily.
Taemin had finally turned twenty-one and he was ready to live on is own. He was ready for the real world even if his older brother wasn't as convinced, "Yes, hyung. I am ready for this."
Kibum sighed as he signed the paperwork for Taemin saying he was a witness. Taemin clapped his hands, happily, "Yes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
He hugged his older brother and jumped around, grinning, "I'm happy for you, Taeminnie. Jonghyun and I will come over tomorrow to help you move."
---
Taemin smiled as he looked around his new living room. After Kibum and Jonghyun left his house, he spent the last five hours getting everything together and finally everything was perfect.
He made his way to his kitchen and poured himself another cup of coffee that Kibum made as they unpacked. He set his green cup with a cute little cow on it eating some grass down on the counter before walking over to the fridge, pulling out an ice cream cone. He was in his own house, so he'd eat ice cream when ever he wanted to.
He walked back over to his cup and stared at the cup. He remembered drinking half the contents of the cup, but now it was completely filled. Maybe he was mistaken. He grabbed his cup and headed back into the living room, taking a seat on his couch. He took a small sip of his coffee before setting it down on the coffee table then settling back on the couch, turning on the TV.
Everything was perfect.
---
Taemin unlocked his door and stepped into his house. He kicked off his shoes as he closed his door. He placed his jacket in his closet and walked inside, but something was off. His house... was clean.
Not to say Taemin was a dirty person. For someone who just left home, he was pretty clean, but when he left, there was definitely a empty coffee cup and a plate from his breakfast, not to mention the blanket was on the floor.
But it was all cleaned up and the blanket was hung on the back of the couch. He walked into the kitchen and saw all the dishes were washed and put back in their rightful places.
He then ventured into the laundry room to find everything folded neatly and cleaned. He walked back into his living room and picked up his phone, dialing his brother's number and waited. When he picked up, before Kibum could even say hello, Taemin spoke up, "Did you come over and clean my house?
"No," Kibum replied.
"Are you lying?" Taemin questioned.
"Taemin, you told me not to come over so I said I wouldn't," Kibum retorted with a sigh, "Why are you asking?"
Taemin glanced over his shoulder like he heard something, "Hyung... can you come over and spend the night?"
It was silent for awhile until Kibum sighed again, "I'll be there in twenty."
---
Kibum spent the night and when they woke up, everything was just as they left it that night. He said that Taemin probably forgot he cleaned up, but Taemin wasn't as convinced, but he let his brother leave.
When his brother left, Taemin sat on his couch, twiddling with his hair as he stared blankly at the TV. He felt like he was being watched and it was so strange. He had no idea what to do.
He reached for his phone and dialed the number of his Realtor and waited for him to answer, "Hello? Jinki-sshi?"
"Yes, who is this?"
"Lee Taemin. The one who bought a house from you a week ago. I had a question," Taemin said softly as he nibbled on his nail.
"Ah, yes. What would you like to ask?" Jinki questioned.
Taemin wasn't sure how to go around asking this question. Jinki might think he is insane, "Well... some strange things have been happen-"
"Oh... so he's back?" Jinki asked.
He froze, "Excuse me?"
"Minho. Choi Minho. He was twenty-four when he died. He was deathly ill and he died about twenty years ago. When he died, his family moved out and people have been selling it and buying it, but they keep leaving. He sends them out. One of the families even brought a medium and found out that Minho wanted the perfect roommate," Jinki explained, "Has he thrown stuff around and broken things?"
Taemin blinked a few times. He was watching his TV change channels without him even touching it until it landed on a show about ghosts, "N-no... he cleans and... stuff."
Jinki was silent for a little while until he spoke up, "Then what is the problem?"
"Thereisaghostandyoudidn'ttellmeaboutit," Taemin hissed into the phone as he saw the chair in the corner rocking. It stopped for a second and that terrified Taemin, but it started moving again.
"Taemin, what do you want me to do? Do you want to sue me? You said it was the perfect house and if Minho hasn't harmed you, then there shouldn't be a problem?"
"Hold on," Taemin pulled the phone away from his ear. He grabbed a note pad and held onto the pen. He saw this on TV. "Minho.... if you won't hurt me, write no on the paper."
He waited a few minutes until a pressure was on his hand. It felt warm, unlike the cold feeling he expected. His eyes widened as his hand started writing 'no'. He blinked a few times as he watched his hand write more, 'I won't hurt you. I'll protect you and take care of you.'
Taemin dropped the pen and picked up the phone as he stared at the paper, "I think everything will be okay. Bye, Jinki."
"Bye."
He hung up the phone and leaned back as he watched the rocking chair move. He blinked a few times before sighing, "I can't believe... my roommate is a ghost."
---
"Taemin! You can't be serious?!" Kibum cried as he saw his cup move into the sink. He hugged Taemin's waist, pulling him towards the exit. Jonghyun was leaning against the counter, staring in shock.
Taemin pushed his brother away and walked back into the kitchen. He held up Jonghyun's cup and it was taken out of his hand and put into the dishwasher by its self. He leaned against the counter and shrugged, "He said he wouldn't hurt me and I trust him."
"HE'S A... ghost," Kibum whined as he hid behind Jonghyun, watching as Minho's ghost whipped the dishes clean, "How do you expect to have a... romantic relationship?!"
Taemin shrugged, "If I had one, I'd go to the guys place, but for now, I'm fine. I was starting to get lonely, so Minho helped me."
"B-but he's a-"
"Ghost!" Jonghyun groaned, "We got it. He's a ghost. The thing is, he isn't hurting Minho. The day, if it does happen, we'll get Taemin out of here."
Kibum walked over to Taemin and gripped his shoulders, "Taemin... I want you to be very careful, alright. If... if anything happens, you have to tell me. You can move in with me and Jjong, okay?"
Taemin nodded his head, "No problem, hyung. Thank you."
Kibum leaned forward and kissed Taemin's cheek. "We're leaving now. M-minho... take came of Taemin."
There was a soft bang on the counter and Kibum took that as an answer. He and Jonghyun left a few minutes later and Taemin sat down on the couch, "Want to watch something, Minho?"
He saw the rocking chair move and he accepted that as his answer and began flipping through the channels.
---
Taemin had gotten used to Minho's antics. He honestly didn't mind it anymore. It was like he had his very own maid and Minho didn't seem to mind Taemin's presence. He even enjoyed it, but he didn't enjoy other people too close to Taemin.
Whenever Taemin brought over friends and one of them got too friendly, he would make it known that he didn't like it, but only to Taemin so Taemin's friends didn't get scared off making Taemin mad at him. He knew how to behave.
Though Taemin hardly ever invited friends over to begin with. He was okay with Minho, but he loved his friends and didn't want them to get scared off, so it was a mutual understanding between the two.
After Taemin found out about Minho, he started researching him. He found pictures of Minho and couldn't help, but be amazed at how beautiful he was. He really hit the jackpot, he joked with the ghost. He vaguely heard laughter, but he thought that was impossible, so he shrugged it off.
He learned everything about him. He would ask Minho questions and his friendly ghost would find a way to answer. They have gotten much closer and that started to worry Kibum. He would come by every so often and chat with Taemin about stuff he researched.
Apparently, ghost have a way of getting 'stuck' to someone if they are close. 'You've seen Casper! He feel in love with the human girl! What if it happens to you?!'
Taemin just ignored his brother's paranoia and continued to spend time with Minho, getting to know each other. It didn't seem to have any effect on Minho, or at least to Taemin it seemed fine.
But he was still so naive.
---
Taemin was going to bed after his shower. He pulled on some boxers as Minho pulled the blanket down for Taemin like he always did. Taemin smiled as he got into bed nad Minho tucked him in.
"Thank you, Minho. Good night," Taemin sighed sleepily as he closed his eyes.
He was only sleeping for about an hour when he felt the blanket being pulled away. His eyes fluttered opened and he looked down at his legs. He felt like someone was touching his legs, "Minho?"
The soft touches stopped for a second before the hands went up his thighs and to his stomach, pushing Taemin down. His eyes widened as he felt fingers touching his chest and neck.
It was so warm and felt so good, but it terrified Taemin. Minho was touching him in such a erotic way.
He felt Minho's fingers travel up his neck, touching his hair and then he felt a soft pressure on his lips like he was being kissed as he felt hands holding onto his side.
The feeling of lips disappeared from his own lips and down his body. He felt hands pulling at the fabric of his boxers, being pulled down. He was terrified, but felt very... aroused. He wasn't a virgin, but no one had ever touched him like this. It was... exhilarating.
Taemin felt a soft pressure at his entrance and what felt like hands on his wrists, pushing his wrists down. Not to mention the soft kisses he felt on his chest.
His breath hitched when he felt Minho push into him. He groaned softly. God, it felt amazing. Minho stilled at first, but moved after a few moments, savoring Taemin's moans.
As Minho was making love to Taemin, he stared up at where he believe the form of Minho was. He felt like he could see the outline of his body perfectly.
His fingers tangled into sheets of the pillow as Minho moved in and out of him. It felt amazing.
It hit Taemin right away. The clenching of his stomach, the tightening of his hole. It shocked him when he came, screaming. The climax was outstanding. The best he ever had.
The feeling of someone else coming inside of him never came as Minho slipped out and any pressures of being touched were gone. Taemin just laid there panting until he fell into a deep sleep.
---
The next day, Taemin was over at Kibum's, curled up on the couch as he stared blankly at the TV, chewing on his thumb nail.
Kibum was in the middle of watching his show, when he noticed Taemin didn't offer a comment on the show like he always did. He looked over at Taemin and noticed his silent demeanor, "Taeminnie?"
Taemin looked his brother, blankly, "Yeah?"
"Are you sick?" Kibum asked, leaning over and touching his brother's forehead. Taemin shook his head, "I'm fine."
His older brother nodded and pulled his hand away, watching Taemin, "Then what is it?"
Taemin shrugged his shoulder, signaling that was the end of the coversation until he shifted on the couch "Hyung... is it... possible... to have sex with a ghost?"
Kibum blinked a few times before laughing. It started out slow then got louder, but when he saw Taemin wasn't laughing, he stopped and gripped Taemin's shoulder, "You were ghost raped!"
"N-no... well, not really. At first, I guess it was, but as it went on... I... I enjoyed it. Hyung, he was so gentle," Taemin bit his lip as he smiled softly.
"Taemin!"
"What?!" Taemin groaned, leaning back on the arm of the couch. He crossed his arm over his chest and shrugged, "Hyung. It was the best sex I ever had in my life and... I may want to do it again."
"AGAIN?!"
Taemin rolled his eyes and sighed, "Hyung, it is my choice. I swear to you that if things become too much for me to handle, then I will tell Minho to stop."
Kibum scoffed, "Tell him to stop? He's a ghost, you can't stop him."
Taemin smiled, "Hyung, I think Minho really does care for me, so I trust him. You should too."
"I just don't want you to get hurt."
"I won't."
---
The affair went on for a while. Each time seemed to get better and Taemin was slowly falling for Minho and that terrified Kibum. Jonghyun told him to leave Taemin alone. He was a 'big boy' and could handle himself, but Kibum didn't listen.
He ended up calling Jinki over to fix things, "Can you... get a priest or someone to um... get rid of Minho?"
"That would kill him. I don't think Taemin or Minho will like that," Jinki replied, taking a sip of the tea that Kibum offered him, "But I can try to convince Taemin to ask Minho to leave."
Kibum nibbled on his lip, "I don't know if Taemin will do that. I think he is falling for Minho. Wait, I have an idea. You need to get close to Taemin and convince him to get rid of Minho."
Jinki wasn't sure if he should do that, but he nodded his head, "I'll try."
---
Taemin walked up to the door and opened it. He was surprised to see who it was. "Jinki-sshi?"
Jinki smiled and nodded his head, "Can I come in?"
---
Taemin and Jinki got closer over the next few months. Taemin spent less time with Minho and only had special moments once a week or not even that and Minho was taking notice.
At first the spirit wanted to get rid of Jinki, but that would hurt Taemin and the last thing he wanted was some paranormal nut jobs trying to get rid of him, but that was exactly what Taemin wanted, he would accept.
One night, Taemin came home late, smiling lazily as he made his way inside. He fell back on the couch and sighed happily. He saw Minho pull a blanket over his lap before sitting down next to Taemin. The boy laid his head on where Minho's lap would be, "Minho... you know how I feel about you, right?"
He felt a brush of wind and he took that as his answer, "Well, I feel that way about Jinki, who actually prefers being called Onew. Cute, right? He brought something up and at first it bothered me, but the more I think about it, the more I feel like he is right."
Taemin turned and stared up at the ceiling, "Maybe you should go to the light. You deserve it. I figured that the reason you haven't left yet was because you never found anyone to be with you and love you before you died, but I want you to know I love you. I really do."
There was no answer so Taemin figured Minho disappeared because he was upset. Taemin sat up and pouted. That didn't work.
---
A few days later, when Taemin was out with his brother and Jinki, Minho was cleaning up the house. He kept his distance from Taemin ever since he brought up him leaving. He was hurt and didn't want to leave Taemin, but Taemin was right.
He decided to accept Taemin's choice, but he had one more thing to do.
---
That night when Taemin came home, Minho was there. Taemin knew what Minho wanted and he wanted it as well. He made his way up to the room and he enjoyed Minho making love to him again. He missed it and this time was definitely the best climax he ever had.
He was so sleepy, he didn't notice that Minho took over his hand and picked up a pen and started writing something on a piece of a paper. When Minho released Taemin's hand, Taemin was knocked out.
Minho rested a hand on Taemin cheek before leaning forward and kissing his forehead. He smiled before turning around. He stared at a white door that wasn't there before. He reached out and turned the door knob. A blinding light emitted and he held his hand over his eyes to shield himself. The light dimmed slightly and he looked over his shoulder.
"Goodbye, Taemin," he whispered before turning back to the door and stepping inside.
---
Taemin's eyes opened slowly and he sat up, stretching his arms over his head. He made a move to get up until he noticed a piece of paper on the pillow next to his bed. He picked it up and read it aloud.
"Dear, Taemin. Ever since you entered this house the first time, I knew you were the one. When I died, I regretted one thing. Not falling in love, but you saved me. The nights we had were amazing and as long as you were happy, I was as well. When you started spending time with Jinki, I was jealous, then you brought up me leaving and I was devastated. I couldn't believe you wanted me to leave. I thought you lost feelings for me, but I knew you still loved me. So last night was my way of saying goodbye, but don't be sad. Please promise me one thing. On the anniversary of my death, I want you to visit my grave and spend time with me, only me. I love you and hope you the best. Love, Minho."
He lifted his hand and wiped away his tears away. He set the note down as more tears fell. Minho left him and was gone forever. He felt a wash of guilt over his body.
---
A year later, Taemin walked into the graveyard, a bouquet of flowers in his arms. He walked over to the tombstone and sat down, setting the flowers on top of it, "Minho... it's been a year since you left. How have you been?"
