Jinho's eyes watched as the old man in front of him as he spoke. He was the vice principal, not that he actually cared. It seemed like he was telling Jinho something important, but he wasn't really listening.
"Did you get all that?" Mr. Jung asked.
"Yeah," Jinho replied, smiling like he was actually listening.Let them hear what they want to hear and you'd be all right.
"Good. Jinki will be waiting outside for you. He'll be your guide here are Seoul High School," Mr. Jung smiled, "Go on."
Jinho stood up and bowed before leaving the room. He looked around for some pimple faced nerd, but all he saw was a very attractive guy.
"Hey, are you Jinho?" the guy asked.
Jinho eyed him. He had a pudgy face, but still cute. He dressed very nicely. He was pretty hot. He had smiling eyes, "Yeah, but everyone calls me Jino."
"Hey, Jino, I'm Jinki or Onew as my friends call me. Nice to meet you," Jinki replied, holding out his hand.
Jinho accepted the others hand and smiled," Nice to meet you." He pulled his hand away and looked around. He noticed a red head running in their direction. He had looked over his shoulder and didn't notice Jinki and it seemed the other didn't notice either.
"So first I will- AH!"
Jinki fell flat on the ground, the red head on top of him. Both groaned as they got off the floor, "Sorry, hyung. I didn't see you."
Jinki rubbed his head, "It's fine, Taeminnie. What did you do this time?"
"Nothing... though I may be accused of gluing Mr. Kim's butt to his chair," Taemin giggled.
"LEE TAEMIN!"
"Gotta go!" Taemin grinned as he took off running. Jinki and Jinho watched Taemin and barely missed an old guy run by with his chair stuck to his ass.
"That was Lee Taemin. A few years ago, him and three other guys and myself, were really close... but that was the past! This is now, let's get going," Jinki said, smiling at Jinho.
Jinho just nodded his head and followed after Jinki. Today was going to be very eventful.
---
"Now this is the library. Here, we have thousands of books," Jinki explained as they entered the room.
Jinho looked around and nodded his head, "It's empty."
Jinki chuckled, "Once again, this is the library. There are thousands of books."
Both froze when they heard a loud noise come out. Jinho looked at Jinki, "Did that sound like... a moan?"
"Let's jsut go," Jinki replied, pushing Jinho out of the library.
---
"Do you think they heard us?"
"Who fucking cares?! We need to get out of here!"
"Fine... relax."
---
Jinho followed Jinki to what was obviously a very crowded cafeteria. He listened to Jinki point out certain people and cliques.
"OW!"
Everyones head snapped into the direction of the noise. A very tall boy was standing over Taemin who was now planted on the floor for the second time that day.
Jinho moved to help Taemin up, but Jinki held him back. He noticed that the taller male held out his hand to Taemin and the other accepted, "Thanks, Minho hyung."
The one named Minho smiled only briefly; Jinho almost missed it. Minho made his way to his table and soon the noisy cafeteria erupted in senseless chatter.
"That was Choi Minho. He's the captain of the soccer team and both outdoor track and indoor track. He's also a member of the student body," Jinki explained as he pulled Jinho towards the lunch line.
Jinho looked from quiet Minho at his table of loud jocks to Taemin and his crowd on the school lawn, eating their food while sitting on the branches of the huge oak tree surrounded by flowers and bushes.
He looked back at Jinki as he talked to another student something about situation felt ...familiar.
---
Jinho glanced over his shoulder to make sure Jinki didn't follow him. Jinki wasn't a bad guy or host; he was great, but Jinho was tired and didn't feel that interested in learning the history of the third toilet in the second floor boys room or something like that. He wasn't really listening to Jinki. He was honestly staring at his very cute butt.
He pushed his hands into his pockets as he walked down the hallway. He was just exploring on his own for a little while.
As he walked down the hallways, a voice slowly started. It sounded like someone was moaning. What was up with this school he had to wonder.
He neared the room just as the noises stopped. He stood there for awhile and was about to move when the door opened. He stared at the two and both stared back.
"H-how much did you h-hear?" The tall feminine looking one asked.
Jinho shrugged, "I didn't hear any words if that is what you mean."
The shorter one turned to the other," See? We made it out alive."
"Jonghyun, fuck you-"
"Key, you just did."
"Ugh!" Key groaned. He turned to Jinho and grabbed his collar, "Don't tell ANYONE you saw us. I will ruin you."
Jinho nodded lazily as watched him run off. The shorter one grinned, "That was Kibum or as we all call him, Key. I'm Jonghyun. You much be the new kid."
"Jino."
"Welcome," Jonghyun grinned.
"Jino! There you are," Jinki said as he wlaked up. He smiled at Jinho, but his smile fell when he saw Jonghyun, "Hey, Jonghyun."
Jonghyun glared at Jinki before walking off after Kibum. Jinho heard Jinki sigh and turned to look at him. The other smiled softly and shook his head, "Nothing. So what happened?"
"I just went for a walk."
Jinki nodded and shrugged, "Want to keep going?"
Jinho nodded and followed after Jinki. At least the day was almost over.
---
Jinho leaned against the wall, head phones covering his ears as he waited for his mother to pull in.
He saw Jinki getting in his car. He watched as Taemin got on his skateboard and skated away with his friend. He glanced at Kibum getting into his car, while Jonghyun did the same (both glanced as each other every so often). He saw Minho run a few laps on the track with his team mates.
Something about those fie seemed oddly familiar. He felt it digging at his brain. It was even giving him a big headache.
"Excuse me? Are you Cho Jinho?"
Jinho glanced over at the old man with glasses and his hand extended, "I'm Lee Sooman. Vice-principal of this fine establishment."
"Nice to meet you," Jinho replied, accepting Sooman's hand.
"How was your first day?"
Jinho looked from Sooman to the five who were leaving, "Interesting. I have to go. My mom is here."
Sooman waved as Jinho got in the car. He pushed his glasses up his face and sighed, "Things will get very interesting."
