Christmas Recap!
I had such an amazing Christmas! Here goes...
Christmas Eve I worked 8-2 pm, ran to JC Penny's and bought an adorable purse and then came home and got ready really fast. Then I headed to Eric's and we went to a beautiful mass at his church with his mom, dad and brother. I was so happy that I went to church, I've been wanting to go for so long and it was hard to hold back the tears when I was there. I felt like I needed to be there and that night would not have been complete if I didn't go. After mass was over, around 5:15 pm, we went out to dinner at Andiamos. It was so yummy! Everything was wonderful. Eric and I split some Calamari, I got soup with my dinner, really scrumpous bread, and munched on another appetizer, so when dinner finally came I wasn't even that hungry but I ate as much as I could. Eric and I both orded Shrimp Fetticine Alfredo which was really really good! After dinner Eric and I went back to his house and took a 3 hour nap because we were both exhausted from work. After we got up it was already 10 pm so we killed some time until we opened presents around 11:30 pm. From Eric I got the Da Vinci code- the illustrated version, the 2 dane cook CD's, my Escada Rockin' Rio perfume, The Dukes of Hazzard movie, Vanilla Bean Noel Lotion, My Pink Tree I've been wanting, and my Dessert Beauty set of Peppermint Twist. I think thats everything! He got me so much stuff! I gave Eric all of his presents as well. He got Volumes 1, 2 and 3 of Family Guy- the whole set, His Halo Shirt and Season 3 of Halo he wanted, Boxers and such, Dane Cook CD that he already got from his brother, and Red Wings Tickets. I think that was everything, I can't remember it all! His Mom and Dad absolutely loved the gift basket I made them :-) I had such a great Christmas Eve! After the present opening we watched some Chappell Show Season 2, and then I unfortunately had to go because it was going on 2 am.. when I got home Santa had already visited.. I guess I just missed him..
Christmas Day we got up at 9:30 and opened gifts. I got a $75 gift card for Hollister and a $25 gift card for anywhere. I got a whole bunch of other stuff too. After present opening was over, I headed into the kitchen for some power baking- 3 batches of cookies, a seafood cheeseball, and a 4 layer dessert- all for Eric's family party. After baking, hopped in the shower, got ready extremely fast because I was running really behind, and sped to his house and dropped off all of the goodies. I'm happy that I got to at least say Hi to everyone. Sped back home, loaded my car up and headed to my Dad's. He gave my sister and I $100 each and then he opened his gifts. We then headed to my Aunts for dinner, stayed for a little bit and left around 6:30 pm. Came back to my dad's, watched TV, and went to bed. I woke up this morning, took a shower and got ready at his house and came home around 11:45.. and worked from 1-9.
This was the best Christmas I've had in a very long time. I got the chance to be happy this year and I'm so thankful. I am never going to forget this Christmas. Baby, thank you for letting me come with you and your family to mass and dinner. you have no idea how much that meant to me. I love you Baby :-)
