I feel so secure when you are here beside here, there is nothing that can bring me down...
So here's what has been going on...
My parents made up, got into another fight and are all happy again. It's a rollercoaster ride and I am trying to learn not to take their fighting that seriously. One day its good, the next bad and then the next day they are happy again!? Nice example to set for your children. I promised myself to learn from this and to never let my children see the kinds of things I have been around.
I did just really good news. 3 things in fact!
1. My stepdad finally got the truth out and admitted to my mom that he was still seeing Carol (the homewrecker) and I guess he is really relieved he got it out in the open. Supposively its over and done with for sure this time. She was threatening him to break it off with my mom so he was torn between her and my mom. He's been keeping everything bottled up for so long that he was probably on the verge of a breakdown and I'm happy thats its over and done with. Now the rebuilding can began.
2. We are having a family party!!!! My mom told me like a month ago that we weren't going to be having one this year and I was really upset by that. So I called her today from home to find out where she was and she said she was coming home from Kroger because she had to get some things for the party. and I said "what party?" and she said that we are having everyone over on Christmas day! I started crying when I heard that because of everything that has been going on. I have really started to see how important family really is.
3. I got my laptop today! It just came in the mail and I wanted nothing more than to get it out of the box it was in, but they taped it up so good all I could think was "Where is Eric and his box cutter when I need him.. those things really do come in handy" So it's currently warming up in the kitchen because I dont want to turn it on with its cold. I cant wait to use it!
... and I know I only said there was only 3 good things but I just thought of another!...
4. I got all of my christmas shopping done! I stayed up until 2 am this morning wrapping all of my gifts and I just have 2 more I have to wrap because I got them today. Yay! Just in time for christmas! My closet is stuffed with presents :-)
Today is the only day I have off before Christmas. I worked the past 6 days, have today off, and then work everyday up to Christmas, including Christmas eve. :-( I can't wait for Christmas! On Christmas eve I work 8-2.. going to mass with Eric's family at 3:30.. dinner after that with them.. and my mom said that my sister and I don't have to do dinner with them because she understands that we are older now and have other things we have planned. So I believe that they are going out to eat with my grandpa. After that is openning presents and then I'm not sure after that. Christmas is the family party at my house, and I'm kind of worried because my sister and I go to my dad's every year and then we go to my aunts. and I want to go to Eric's and see his family too. Christmas is going to be jam- packed with things to do! and you know what.. I can't wait!
