QUICK REAL LIFE UPDATE: had a job interview today. went pretty well. I may be employed soon. fingers crossed!
LOST was PHENOMENAL. Just goes to prove, Locke/Ben/Desmond/Sayid episodes are always awesome and intense and fascinating, while Jack/Kate/Sawyer episodes are snores. Everyone else (Hurley, Juliet, etc) is kind of in the middle. TPTB STOP WITH THE LOVE TRIANGLE NONSENSE AND FOCUS ON THE AWESOME. Thanks. It's greatly appreciated.
BACK ON TRACK!
John Locke is crazy. Why does he not recognize Richard from when he was a kid? COME ON HE IS SEXY AND WEARS EYELINER KIND OF STANDS OUT IN 1950s USA AS WELL AS CRAPHOLE ISLAND.
How do these people know Locke? How do they know he's special? What do they need him for? QUESTIONS, I HAVE THEM.
&&& whyyy is Ben no longer 'good enough' to be the chosen one? WAS HE EVER A CHOSEN ONE? He kind of just happened upon the island, he was never actively pursued like Locke.
RICHARD, YOU CONFUSE ME.
ABBADON, YOU TERRIFY ME.
HURLEY, YOU MAKE ME LAUGH ALWAYS. I love you, never change.
OKAY MORE: CLAIRE. wtf? What is she doing in Jacob's cabin? Not really the ideal locale for a family reunion. "oh hey deadbeat dad I met once and hated, what are you doing here in the magical jungle of mysteries? follow you into the ominous cabin? leave my baby on a tree stump to be eventually raised by a felon? sit in a rocking chair with no lights on? sounds like a BLAST, do you want to make the tea or should I?"
OH AND MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE EPISODE: JACK'S DAD EXPLICITLY SAID HE IS NOT JACOB. I repeat, NOT Jacob. Can everyone stfu on their nonsensical theories now? HOW COULD JACK'S DAD SPEND HIS SPARE TIME BEING THE GHOSTLY CONTROLLER OF THE ISLAND? Least favourite Lost theory ever, worse than if it was all a dream. BECAUSE IT WOULD BE THE MOST MAGNIFICENT DREAM EVER.
Uhhh I think that's all I have Lost-wise. except that I am sad that the Sayid/Des team of awesome broke up. :[
OTHER TV SHOWS THAT AREN'T AS IMPORTANT AS LOST:
The Office was boring. I'm sorry, I just wasn't really feeling it. Michael's acting weirder and weirder and now it's to the point that he's just a rude douchebag, not the socially awkward try-to-hard guy he used to be. It's losing it's magic, which makes me sad. I've found the past few episodes decently funny, but tonight was just disappointing.
30 Rock made me laugh out loud at least three times. Matthew Broderick was PERFECT casting choice and not just because I'm in love with him (Ferris Bueller, you're my hero). Favourite line: "there's no crying in the bathtub for me tonight!"
Supernatural is goooood, why did I stop watching this again? I don't know, but I need to start buying the seasons and getting fully caught up. It was intense, Leatherface creeped me out, I actually jumped a couple times and I want to marry Dean. The CSI;Miami joke pretty much made my night. LOVED IT.
THURSDAY NIGHT IS THE BEST TV NIGHT EVER, BASICALLY.
