everything changed on me
it's not bad
just weird.

but i changed.
except i didn't
but my views changed

because of the talks
and the things that happened
and the book i read

and now i'm all loopy
loopier than my normal loop

this morning walt lectured kathy and me
about how it is warm in denver colorado
about how blah blah blah and about how
the warm is going to reach us except it
won't be as warm blah blah blah blah

GOODNESS! i don't mean to be rude
but after sitting through that, i think
anyone would be a tad on the cranky side.
all the time he does this.
all the time! why? i don't know. but don't
ask him because then he'll be off to the races.

today walt put pink styrofoam on my bedroom window.
my window is now pink.
pink is my window.
there is styrofoam on my window.
he did this to all the other upstairs windows a week or so ago
and i resisted it in my own window until now
so whenever i want to look at the beautiful
winter landscape (my peeling roof shingles)
all i get is pink.
styrofoam.
pink.
in my window.
why?
oh well. this is my family. beggars can't be choosers.
