christmas was grand. it hurts to see that most of my friends are busy talking about what they got and what they did but put absolutely nothing about Jesus (maybe if you forgot, he's the reason we get gifts on that day. Saint Nicholas brought people presents in the first place to remind them of the real gift you recieve on christmas. i just had to say that first. my family introduced me to one of my newest fave drinks, wassel (pronounced like "fossil" with a "w"). and i made Jesus's birthday cake all by myself this year, i was proud, and my family ate the whole thing!! heh! and we went to the Christmas Eve service at church which was good as always. the carol-singing is my favorite part!! then we read the bible story of Jesus's birth and then we read 'the night before christmas'. it was fun! it's our tradition! and then i watched charlie brown christmas with madre and talked to alex on the phone for awhile. christmas morning, i woke up and we opened presents and stuff. then we went to church for the Christmas morning service. then we went up to my g-parents' house and ate. then we went and visited my other grandmother in the hospital(she's not doing well so PLEASE pray for her yall!!). and then stayed the night at my gparents' house and then went home. today i cleaned. and realized that i'm spoiled rotten and dont deserve all the things i have! but i hope yall had wonderful holidays as well!
