Well...
Okay so I thought it would be a good idea to start one of these things since I am getting married. It all happened so fast that I cant even believe I have found someone I am going to spend the rest of my life with.
But first I think I should give you some background information about us...
On November 22, 2005 I sent a message to Eric on Yahoo... just to chat. The next day he sent me back one and asked for my phone number. I gave it to him without any questions (never did that before). That night around 11:30 pm as I was taking Courtney home... we stopped at Taco Bell because she was hungry my phone went off. She didn't recognize the number so she handed me the phone. I answered and it was him. We talked for about 30 min or more. I dropped off Courtney and headed towards home. As we continued to talk he asked me if he could meet me. We decided to meet that night at Go Mart in Teay's Valley. By this time it was 12:00 am on November 24, 2005 (THANKSGIVING DAY). When he pulled up in his truck, turned, and flashed me a smile... I was blown away. I knew from that moment this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. It was crazy on how that feeling came over me. I got out of the car and walked over to the front of my vehicle where he was standing. He told me I reminded him of Ashley Simpson (the hair) and then I started shaking and stuff so he asked me if I would like to get in the car where it was warm. We got in my car and started talking. We talked for almost 2 hours before he asked me to take him to Kroger. I drove over to Kroger where I thought he was thirsty or just wanted to use the bathroom or something. Well I sat there waiting on him when he got in the car and handed me a long stem single red rose. I almost cried because NEVER have I received a rose from any man I was with. It was so sweet and breath taking. We then sat in Krogers parking lot and talked some more. We talked and talked till it was 5:00 in the morning. He asked me what is the one thing I wanted for Christmas and I said to be his girlfriend. And I got that wish that very night. I drove him back to his truck and we said our goodbyes. (which took 30 some min). I made it home around 5:45 that morning and went to bed. I woke up around 12:00 on Thanksgiving day to him calling me. He asked me if it was okay to come up and eat Thanksgiving Dinner with the family. I was really shocked then because guys just don't volunteer meeting parents. But luckily he hit it off with my parents in no time flat. They love him so much and I couldn't ask for more.
The next day was Black Friday and he came down again to go shopping with me. Me, Court, and Eric went out to eat at the Olive Garden and then to the mall... and let me tell you people are CRAZY!!!!
A couple weeks after that me and Courtney went to Pittsburgh to see her Mom. I thought it was going to be horrible but it wasn't bad at all... I missed Eric tons but I think talking to him every night helped a lot. We had to come home on Tuesday for me to take a final but then left on a Wednesday. When we came in for that one night I came home to a surprise. I didn't think I was going to get to see him because his dad had knee replacement surgery. But I put some stuff in Mom's closet to come back through to him standing there with a big things of wild flowers for me. :) I was so excited. I love him so much. We went back to Pittsburgh that Wednesday morning and stayed up there until that Monday night the 19th.
We got home and went to Grandma Jackie's house to open presents. We were there until 10:00 that night and then went home because we both were freaking tired. I pulled in to the driveway and dad was sitting on the porch with the girls (our cocker spaniels) and he told me to come up the front porch instead of the back one that we always use. So I don't think anything of it and go inside. When I walk inside Eric is standing talking with mom so I turn towards the Kitchen to take off my shoes and put my purse down. I then turned around to him handing me a dozen white roses and a card.
The card read:
ALL I WANT IS TO LOVE YOU...
for the rest of my life...
to wake up every morning

knowing that no matter what happens,
I'll be able to come home

ALL I WANT IS TO SHARE EVERYTHING WITH YOU...
to talk to you about our ideas, our dreams,

that we can't help worrying about.

as a place you can always
come to for acceptance
or the simple comfort that silence brings
when things left unspoken
can still be understood.
ALL I WANT IS TO GROW OLD WITH YOU...
to watch our life unfold,
our dreams, one by one, come true.
ALL I WANT IS TO LOVE YOU FORVER.
Then he wrote:
I love u so much
I want to be with u until we

I love you with all my hear and soul.

So then he got down on one knee and asked me if I would make him the happiest man in the world and marry him.
Of course I said yes.
So there it is... we have been together only 2.5 months but I love him with my whole heart and couldn't imagine my life with out him :-D
So I am dedicating this journal to our wedding and thing that are going on with us...
