my hanson day!
well hello all!first i want to say: HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!!
ok lol it is the day after my hanson concert at the starland ballroom and i am hear to share my experience since i didnt ever get to finish the WBLI experience .. so anyway
Melissa (melissa82686 from h.net) slept over. we went to the mall
and bought Isaac a very spiffy Tie which was extremely fun picking out lmao ... it was calvin klein and 80% off! lol AND IT LOOKED LIKE AN IKE TIE! SO WE GOT IT! lol she slept over that night .. the details of the night arent important except for our playing one scene of zac over and over again in lullabelle on h.net lmao
so anyway we got up at 6:10 am the next day and we all got ready, picked up my sister picked up jina and kelly and went on our way!the ride there was ok. we got stuck in traffic for sooo long but we wound up getting there at 12. there wasnt THAT many people but they were all spread out so it looked like a lot. everyone was sleeping in sleeping bags and all bundled up. so yea then we got on our spot opened the blanket and hung out lol
IT WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEZING!!!!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG me and melissa were the only ones out of the 6 that stayed on the line. jina and kelly and court and shay all sat in the warm van while we held our spot on the line.lol our spot was right behind the tour bus it was cool. they werent on it tho. i met so many people from h.net it was cool!! and i saw steph and a bunch of people i saw b4 from other shows! and there was some girl singing the lovely tunes of hanson lol. she was good.
me and melissa handed out her "taylors happy birthday" flyer too. it said on it that we were gonna all sing happy bday to taylor (since today is his bday) after they sang penny and me. we gave out about 200 . it was fun.
we met GILL too! he was so nice he gave the girl who was singing with the guitar isaacs box that his guitar came him. she was ssoo nice enough to let us all break it apart and keep the pieces. lol
yes i have a peice! ben jelen came after that.. shay and court got pics of him. he couldnt beleive all the cameras around lol.
so anyway hanson pulled up but everyone thougt it was a bunch of old men for some reason.. my sisters happened to see it was them tho and ran with the camera and got pics and stuff. i was glad she saw them(shay) cuz she hasnt seen them up close like that since 2000) tay was holding ezra they said. they got pics and stuff too. everyone was freezing on the line.. i was so cold i didnt even know i was cold, if that made any sense. they didnt let us in till 7:30ish. we were all the way in the front of the line compared to how long that line was omg. my mom was convince that there were more tickets sold then they were supposed to sell.o wait i wanna make a big special shout out to the legion buildin thingy for letting me pee in the building so many times lmao
ok so at 7 we had to get x's on us cuz we were under 21.yup its still on me.lol finally after 7 and a half hours they let us in!
me and court lost melissa and melissa lost jina and kelly but me and shay and court stuck together. we got the greatest spot! it was right against the barricade on the side of zac near the sound people AND right where they would walk on and off the stage!!! we didnt move lmao it was the best seats except we got a lot of nice views of the butts! ;)
kate(zacs gf) was selling merchandise. it was my moment of oppurtunity to give ike his tie! i tried when i saw him by the bathroom but he kinda shooed us lol
so i decided to give it to her then i didnt. and i gave it to some guy to put it on the stage. he did and then i thought 'what if he doesnt get it!?" so i made another security gaurd get it and give it back so i can give it to kate. i got it back and i put my pic of me and hanson at bli thhat i had in my wallet in the tie. she was so sweet. she said that he will definetly get it! so she took it and put it on top of her purse.she has the nicest southern accent too. i def approve of hansons lovers lol.u picked good ones guys!
hahaa yea so then i went back to my extraordinarly great spot and stood there lmao. ben jelen came on first. HES SO HOT OMG! he sang rocks, come on, give it all away and a bunch of others that i didnt know the name of. when he got off the stage he ran past all of us and i got to touch his hands. i had ben sweat on me lmao it was nice. shay thought it was gross so i got extra ben sweat on me!
he stood near my sis for a pic for about 3 seconds then left. im definetly a ben fan... it could lead to something serious lmao like joinin his fanclub! it took about an hour for hanson to come on! cuz some dumb guy kept tunig the guitars and taking 3 hrs to do it. ugh.
finally the guys moved back the barricades in front of us and we knew HANSON WAS COMING!!! woooooohooo
they finally came out.i got to touch all their hands.. isaac didnt really put his hands out tho. they opened with "rock and roll razorblade". it was soo good! we could see the set list from where we were sitting so we knew what songs were coming up. i kinda didnt like to know what was coming next. ill never look at the set list during a show again lol it took all the surprise out of it.i dont remember in order but they sang if only,i will come to u,wheres the love, madeline,mmmbop,this time around. crazy beautiful, call me, river ( i think), a new one called so lovely, zacs solo (which he dedicated to kate. it was so cute cuz u could see her trying to stand on the table to see him. i was so happy for them i wanted to cry.) you never know,hey,penny and me, strong enough to break,aint no sunshine,underneath,when your gone,and other ones that i cant remember. everyitme hanson would getoff the stage or leave for a solo we would get to touch them.it was so great! at one point everyone was pushing and the barriacade almost fell and i almost fell on my face. omg if the security guard didnt come and stop it i woulda really got hurt. we kept on getting in trouble cuz of the cameras.. one guy threated to take it and we preteneded we dropped it and lost it but really the girl behind us took it for us and we got to keep it. court video taped some of it on her digital and we got 55 pics of the show.. a lot came out blurry cuz we couldnt use a flash but they r still so good.
SOOO MANY GIRLS GOT TAKEN OUT OF THE CROWD! IT WAS CRAZY! one girl was totally out and the guys had to get her and they couldnt cuz she was so out of it i was soo worried for her.
the whole time zac kept looking at our sectin and making thes faces to us and he would drum with this face and would look right at courts camera while she was taking the pics and then hed smile and make us sing and then applaud when we did good. it was so cute!
n then hed head bang on purpose just to watch us scream lol
their last song was with ben jelen! it was soo good! ben plays the violin and everything! very sexy.
we got to touch em one last time when they got off stage and shay asked tay for his bracelet and he turned around to give it to her and some bitch jumped and grabbed it from him! UGH I WAS SO PISSED,
OMG ! AND BEFORE THAT the security guard who kept yelling at me after the show was over. tapped me on my wrist and handed me TAYLORS GUITAR PIC!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SOO HAPPY! I THANKED HIM FOR LIKE AN HOUR! he was kinda cute. he asked me if me and court were twins too. JUST LIKE TAYLOR DID! LOL yea so after that we left the theater n went outside. i found melissa and she was crying so bad cuz she didnt get to give tay his gift she made him so i went on a mission to get it to him! and then i saw GILL!!! HE WAS CARRYING BENS stuff out. and i told him the story and he looked all worried and upset and he dropped the stuff he had and went and gave it to him! i was so glad!! then we left and my mom told us how ike was outside talking to girls and stuff while we were inside and she got a bunch of pics n that she thinks nat is ugly lol
we didnt get home till 5 am. there was so much traffic!!
wehn i got home i went online for a few minutes and found out THAT HANSON IS GOING TO BE PLAYING AT THE PATCHOGUE THEATER!!!! CAN U BELEIVE IT!!!!!!!!! PATCHOGUE!!! i drove for 2 hrs to see them yesterday and now the next show im gonna go to i can walk to!! its on april 16th and i cant do anything but think about this show!! OMG IM SO EXCITED!!!! ok now im done! ill ttyl mmmbye!
