Besides having a bit of a gag-fest last night (from the dry air of the house), around 2AM, a helicopter was hovering overhead for what seemed like forever.
Got very broken night of "sleep" as a result.
Just found out there was a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian which resulted in a death a block or so away.
Yikes.
