i think it's gonna be a long long time
Had such an amazingly fun weekend.
First in such a long time.
Friday I went into the city and Lauren and I did it up at Crash Mansion (http://www.crashmansion.com).
Such a rockin place I couldn't even believe it. Hopefully going to go again this friday after work.
We saw some rad bands play, The Walking, Valeze (so amazing - think early No Doubt) and Like Yesterday who blew my mind x98739875374985. You can see some Like Yesterday photos and some great photos of the roomie and I who I <3 at my Webshots (http://community.webshots.com/user/xkrissy82x).
When we left around 12:30 I got two boots.. yum best pizza EVER.
Oooo also before we went to CM we were at Starbucks for some warm drinks and some not so pleasant toilets. We were chilling and who walks by outside. Adam Duritz from the Counting Crows. Yep very cool. Totally beats the Adam Sandler sighting.
We got back late on a uberr crowded train @ 3am and passed the fuck out.
Woke up early the next day to meet my favorite canadian, Cara, in the city.
We got yummy lunch at Dallas BBQ and caught up like mad.
Shopped a little and then we hung out in Bryant Park for a while. Lemme tell you it wasn't totally warm but it was gorgeous! So many people we out reading so we decided to do the same but ours included cheesy picture taking time. Ummm yeah we decided we wanted to see RENT and we would try for lottery (pretty much you go up at 5:30 put your name on a card, and if they pick it out of the "fishbowl" @6 you get 2 amazing seats for 20 bucks). I had to run to the ATM which is not an easy feat in Times Square. By the time I get back it's like 6:05 and I see Cara standing in the line and I'm like "YOU WON" and she's like "NO YOU WON!". So excited so we got us from front row center (literally) seats for maddd cheap. Caras friend Brian won too. woo.
The show was amazing. Theres so much more you see when your that close. I appreciated it so much more also cause it was my first time with real seats! Amazing. I think I have a little crush on Matt Caplan. I think it's the hair cause he used to look so nerdy. I think it's because now with the new do he looks like Rob Thomas (who is my boyfriend of the moment).
Moving on.
When I got out of the show I saw Stacy and a friend outside and it rocked cause even though our hellos were short it was good cause I hadn't seen her in SO LONG. <3 for stac.
I left because I was freezing my ass off and I missed the 10:48 train back to Island by oo 3 minutes. Yep uh huh. So I took the 11:48, got back @ 1 and watched some QAF with Laur and Tim.
Woo I'm tired again.
Yesterday I slept. Alot. Oo but I went to Target for some essentials and got Mean Girls for $13.87.
I'm such an ass and I missed a appt. with Frisina today about next semesters internship.
Speaking of internships I'm going in tomorrow to Stunt cause they're "going crazy" as Teeter put it.
Oh so fun.
Time to go edit my "magazine"
