(no subject)
So excited yesterday I got Dashboard tickets for when he comes to Hofstra for an acoustic show on April 27.
Wicked wicked wicked excited cause the tickets are already sold out. They actually sold out soon after I got mine. It wasn't as bad as I expected. Christina told me I should be there at 9 am if I even want tickets. But I almost didn't even bother but at the last minute I went over there around 1 - waited in line (thanks liz lol) for about 45 mins and got some semi good seats. Woo.
Um yeah so my mom and roger finally got home yesterday.
They have to go to the hospital today for more tests and such but they're home.
When my mom called me I asked where roger was expecting she'd be like oh he's sleeping.
No he was at our neighbors telling them the whole disastrous story.
I was glad to hear that mom had an ok time regardless.
Oh yeah and she found my keys.
They were in our silverware drawer?????
Like really how did I not see them.
But she's gonna send them to me thank god.
I got new ipod headphones yesterday. They're the in-ear ones.
They are ok, more comfortable but I still think I like the other ones better.
I also got the sun glasses I wanted from Solstice. Oooo I love them so.
Lauren spotted aviators that she MUST get. She has to. So f-ing cool.
We called one guy who's renting an apartment through the hofstra listings. He told us the address so Lauren and I took it upon ourselves to check it out.
So we went and when he said oceanfront he really means oceanfront. You can't even see the front of the house cause it's on the beach. Nonetheless we were excited cause we could pull into the driveway and see the back. There were people living there right now so we couldn't hang around there for so long. it was comforting seeing Adelphi kids already live there and there was also a Hofstra parking sticker on a jeep in front of another apartment. So fun. The guy whos renting it told us to call him when we wanna see it fully.
so yeah. I must be going.
