Another year...
Given how I never update my livejournal anymore, and I update even less when I'm at home than when I'm at school, I figured now would be a good time to kind of wrap up the school year. I should continue studying for my bio final, like I've been doing for the last hour, but whatever. Once the test is over I'll be 3 days and 2 tests away from going home for the summer, so I'd like to take this time to speak my mind about the year that was.
Before I get into why I'm really writing this, I just want to quickly talk about my good friends in a band called JUST SURRENDER (http://www.justsurrender.net). These guys, who I'm sure many of you have heard me go on and on about, were formerly known as A SECOND CHANCE. Well, they recently signed to Broken English Records. Their debut full-length album will be in stores in July. And they just shot a music video yesterday, which myself, John Briggs, Chris Arena, Nick Stark, and Chino Stark had the pleasure of attending the shoot yesterday and being in the video. These guys are 4 of the nicest and most hardworking guys I've ever come across. I truly hope that when their album drops, that they get all the success they deserve. Remember that name folks: JUST SURRENDER.
Alright, so here's an idea I had. I'm going to compile three lists. Because a lot of you will moan and groan that its too long, I'm going to put the first list here on the main page, and then the second two lists behind an lj-cut so you won't whine. If you feel like reading them, feel free.

Marist College in general.
I truly do love it here, and while I ramble on and on about how I cannot wait to go home (and I mean it), I will miss it here. And I will be in touch with my friends over the summer. And I will be excited as hell to see you all in August.
As for my last list, John Briggs came up with an idea a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure if he was joking or not, but he was saying how we should compile a list of all the bands we've seen perform this year. I thought the idea was pretty cool, so I'm doing it. This will show how many shows I actually go to in the course of one school year. And I'm including shows I went to at home over Christmas break and whatnot, because they still happened during the school year.
