Ok...some of you will know where this question stems from, and some not. The thing I love about my friends & loved ones is, reguardless of whether which describes you....your opinion matters to me ;-)
Sooo here's the situation:
I am working on a painting (YAY finally back to my old self). It's a graphicly inspired, bold, not-quite-"Flash"-ish, (more of a cartoonish quality) with brilliant colors and bold shapes and lines (anyone remember the crucufix painting with Jesus made out of stones?...sort of like that).
The image is a messenger angel decending to the earth (via a sacred heart containing the image of Christ) which is engulfed in flames with demons popping out here and there (earth that is). He's holding the last scroll and his head is a burst of colored light reaching up to the heavens above which contain trumpeting angels and "the four winds" blowing chaos around in the negative space throughout the background.
Yes...a scene from the Last Judgement.
My question is this...I am considering calligraphic text across the top area and I am torn between lyrics I would like to incorporate. Opinions? Which is most fitting to the occasion?
Inspired by the most awesome Killswitch Engage of course...
"Your days are numbered"
"This life will soon fade away"
I love both....can't decide.
