(no subject)
Most productive Sunday ever (it was 60 and sunny):
x. slept in until 10
x. 2 loads of laundry-- including the long-overdue duvet cover! and all that folding...
x. cleaned bathroom-- tub, toilet, counter, mirror, side of medicine cabinet, swept floor, blah blah
x. biked to breakfast (Slappycakes-- you make your pancakes at a griddle in the middle of your table)
x. garage sailing with Keri (yes, sailing)
x. washed and waxed car (this whole ordeal was MUCH more involved than I figured and took from 2-almost 6 with a break for food in the middle)
x. grilled out with Zach and Melissa- veggie burgers w/pepper jack, spinach, tomato, onion and some Naked Juice
x. semi-organized storage area
x. fixed breaks on bike (this didn't take that much effort, so maybe it shouldn't even be a line item)
x. rotated mattress (again, easy, but needed to be done)
x. put new jersey knit sheets on bed (!!)
x. organized top drawer of dresser (the sock/underwear/crazy drawer that always gets really messy)
x. dinner (got rid of two leftovers in fridge I needed to use up + made salad)
x. made lunch to take Monday and Tuesday (Annie's organic peace sign pasta w/white cheese sauce)
x. moved a plant that was outgrowing it's home to a new pot I just got-- it looks awesome in it's new, bigger home
x. fixed wooden drying rack
x. played Scatergories with my roomate (picked up this game at the garage sale for 25 cents!)
Perhaps that's it. I didn't get to read outside, or run, or do yoga, or go to a coffee shop and look at grad schools, or...well, lots of things. But I feel like a champion for washing AND waxing the car. Good grief, car waxing is such an ordeal after spending so much time washing your car because it has loads of crap from the obnoxious trees out front caked on it and bird poo and...anyways, enough complaining. It's sparkling now. And I don't have to deal with the wax thing for a while. And that was the first time I waxed a car anyways.
