I upped my mileage this morning. My last run on Monday was 2.7 which is the farthest I've gone so far, it took 21:29 which I know aren't racing spits times, but whatever, good for me, I sure as shit can't go much faster.

Today at lunch I ran a full 3, it took me 23:59 (EXACTLY). I ran from my office up to 79th st, over to marsh road, down to 71st st, and then back up through the office park. I finished strong and feel good now. I'm going to do this distance for 2 weeks and then add another 1/2 mile. I would like to get my mile times from 7:50-ish to around 6. I think it's doable. I must not forget that this is for boxing though, not competitive running. If I can get down to a 5K with 6 minute miles... I'm going to start running this shit with spitz. TKWRT GO!
