Softball game tomorrow. Setting the batting order is getting a little easier. I tweaked a faster , more consistent hitter up to 2nd in the order... that way he gets on base and will be able to run it around for a score on almost any hit after he's on.
We are going to put the ringer on third... she used to play second, but I feel she'd be better utilized at third. SS has been locked down for two weeks. Second base firmed up last week. I do OK at first. One of the orr fellows is fast and has a rocket attached to her arm, so she stays in left... maybe left center. right field is weak right now but it can be.
Our question mark this game is our pitching, and third is perpetually a question mark... hopefully the ringer fills this gap.
If not next week I may take third and put someone else on first... we'll see.
