Circling the Drain

NPR had a commentator on Market Place talking about how the government would be insane to cut interest rates to bail out the sub prime mortgage market. The guy, a sound economist, said that there has to be a sanctioning action in the market so that if people say create a shadow market based on vapor and ghost of high risk mortgages and it takes a dump, they will be more hesitant to do the same thing again. Fed just cut interest rates.

I don't really care what the Federal reserve does. I just like pointing out to people who do care about shit like electoral politics, monetary policy, foreign policy, education policy, etc just how much the shit they care so deeply about is a shell game designed to fuck them into working harder, making less and dying before the upkeep of their meat body becomes a drain on the system.

It's cool though, buy those scratch offs, people magazine, pornography, SUVs, fast food hamburgers, 1rst generation plastics, hair spray, and blood mined diamonds and electricity. Watch the soma dispenser and close your eyes. It'll be over soon enough.
