Pat and I are back from our trek, it was amazing. Pictures will follow this post shortly I'm sure. Now its off to Belize for the real vacation.
After 6 days we arrived 2 days ago at 8:30 PM in Lake Forest, which topped off a 127 mile trek starting in Oxnard. The total milage was 537, almost 100 over my estimate, and the total saddle time was 38 hours plus.
Day one: Daly City to Santa Cruz, 72 miles
Day two: Santa Cruz to Big Sur, 73 miles
Day three: Big Sur to Cayocus, 90 miles
Day four: Cayucos to Lompoc, 79 miles
Day five: Lompoc to Oxnard, 96 miles
Day six: Oxnard to Lake Forest, 127 miles
Pics I promise...we wore spandex everyday.
