White granite or un-stained concrete. The issue is the vanity color. The sink and tile are pretty compatible, but the sink doesn't have quite enough green in the blue to give you the knockout punch against the chocolate. If you do the white counter, maybe consider a couple of turquoise accessories and the whole thing will shine.

I just seems to be taking forever. It just started with me wanting to remove a 1/2 wall in the middle of the bathroom.

Bedrosians is where I take all my clients for stone, tile, and granite. For something this small, that might be overkill. Ask them if they can handle something that small. Let me know if they can't and I'll ask some of my contractors what they'd do.
