Just finished my second week at my new sixth form college, and it is awesome!! I'm just having so much fun, I swear education isn't supposed to make you happy!

What's shocking me the most is how socialble I've become, I've really come out of myself. Normally it would take forever to even introduce myself to someone, now I'm having a laugh with someone like I've known them for ages after having just met them, and I've made so many friends because of it. It's scary in an awesome kind of way.

Ther performing Arts department is just... GUH! I want to marry it and have it's children, the facilities are amazing. We have at least three studios and stage, with working lights and proper costumes and props... the lot! I actually think I've gone to heaven. Our tutor is called Kerry (the significance of this was not lost on me!) and she is really good, she's scrict and still able to have a laugh, I've learnt more with her in two weeks than I learnt in two years of GCSE drama at LOGS.  I'm in a group of twenty girls, which is going to make romance scenes difficult (not for me though...) but they are all awesome people, we've really bonded and everyone gets on with each other, although I'm not sure how long that's going to last, but hey! We're doing Stanislavski and Nautralism right now. It is awesome, we're all working on scenes right now to be filmed on Monday. I'm doing The Three Sisters, by Chekov with two other girls, Anya and Aoife. Apparentely Chekov is really hard t perform, but Kerry thinks we're doing it really well, so that was a boost.

I'm also doing Psychology and Engliah Lit, but you don't want to know about that. Except that me  and Sinead sing a lot in English Lit. Sinead is probably my closest friend so far. She's in my Perf. Arts group to, and we just have such a laugh together. She is awesome stuff.

She is also Lucozade junkie, which brings me on to my next topic. We are all (my entire perf. Arts class that is) becoming addicted to Lucozade, it's quite frightening. Sinead and Anya started it yesterday, they came into our voice class on the biggest sugar rush. It was hilarious! Then me , Aoife, Anya and Sinead bought some today and every had some between our two acting classes. The lesson that followed was highly amusing involving Sinead trying to clean up spoilt Lucozade with her cardigan and me nearly coking to death on Lucozade because I was laughing so hard. Good times.

We're al crazy. I've definitely come to the right place.

performing arts, diary of a lucozade junkie, social skills- where did they come from!, sussex downs college ftw
